Privacy Policy

View Stuff is a private, offline-first file viewer provided by Ahmet Burhan Kayalı ("we", "us", or "our").
Data We Handle
View Stuff does not collect, transmit, sell, share, or use for advertising or analytics any personal data or user files.
Files you choose to open are processed locally on your device. Depending on how a file is opened, View Stuff may create temporary local copies so the file can be previewed. The app may also store locally:
- recent-file metadata, such as file name and local path;
- temporary cached file copies and extracted archive entries; and
- your language preference.
This data remains on your device and is not sent to us or to our servers.
Security
View Stuff is designed to access only files you explicitly choose to open and to keep app-managed temporary data in local app storage or cache. No method of device storage is guaranteed to be completely secure, so you should also protect access to your device.
Retention and Deletion
Local history remains until you clear it, remove an entry, uninstall the app, or the operating system removes related app data. Temporary cache files remain until you clear the cache, uninstall the app, or the operating system removes them.
You can clear View Stuff's history and managed cache from the app's Settings. Clearing the app's cache does not delete your original source files.
Because View Stuff has no accounts or server-side user database, we do not hold personal data that can be deleted from our servers.
Third Parties
View Stuff does not include advertising or analytics services and does not send your files to third parties. If you choose to open a link or file in another app or service, that third party's own privacy terms apply.
Children
We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy if View Stuff's data practices change. The effective date above will be updated when this policy changes.
